General Observations-Loading Process

 

• Children waited on sidewalk in the bay area to be picked up by their parents.
• There were three bay areas.
• Teachers escorted children to their cars.
• Teachers were good about sending next children to 1^st bay area if they were at the end of the bay and not holding up traffic in the queue.
• 3/4 cars loaded at a time.

 

General Observations-Queuing Process

 

• Queue spilled on to Rock Ridge School Rd from 2:56pm to 3:11pm – 15 minutes.
• 2-way queuing on Rock Ridge School Rd with a maximum of 6/7 cars waiting for a left-turn at peak.
