General Observations-Loading Process

 

• A supervisor with walkie-talkie radios in children’s number to the media center for the appropriate child to be sent outside.
• Children are kept in the media center.
• Parents picked up several children early from other parking lot.
• There were four safety patrol kids who opened up the car doors for the appropriate children.
• At 3:22 all the 4^th and 5^th graders were dismissed.
• At 3:38 approximately 35 walkers with 3 adult escorts left down the sidewalk.
• Cars had to go around queue when it backs up into the road causing conflicts in the opposite lanes.
• Approximately 4 cars loaded at the same time.
• At the end of the queue, one teacher writing down the names and gives it to a kid assistant who runs and gives it to the teacher calling out the names on microphone.

 

General Observations-Queuing Process

 

• Spillage on Revere Rd from 3:04pm to 3:34pm – 30 minutes of spillage.
• Cars backed up 3-ways at the intersection of Revere Rd and Clermont Rd from 3:18pm to 3:28pm.
• Many conflicts on Revere Rd by cars trying to go around the queued cars, in the opposite lane.
