General Observations - Loading Process

 

• Children waited to be picked up on the grass field in between the main school building and the queue area. 
• There were four bays although they weren’t clearly marked or enforced.
• Pickup process started at 2:59 when the bell rang.
• A policeman directed traffic out of the carpool area.
• Children walked themselves to the appropriate vehicles.
• There were three teachers present in the carpool area and one teacher called out the names of the children whose parents were there to pick them up.
• The carpool process was over by 3:09.

 

 

 

General Observations - Queuing Process

 

• From 2:37pm to 3:07pm, cars were spilled outside the storage i.e. parked on the grass on McIver St – 30minutes of spilling.
• Almost 8/9 cars noticed parked for sometime beyond the intersection of McIver St and Broad St.
