Edulog for Intermediate Users: In this session we will explore in more detail the features in Edulog.NT. ELPLOT/GISMO & GeBndPlan.
ELPLOT/GISMO: Introduction to using the GISMO interface. Map setup and typical printing. How to use ELPLOT to produce maps of student, transportation, or geographic data and how to display objects using themes will be covered.
GeBndPlan: Boundary Planning. GeBndPlan is used for student to boundary analysis, creating student tallies and enrollment projections. How to use a variety of new functions available for creating and modifying boundaries. You can use this application for developing or analyzing possible boundary changes that can become critical when redistricting.
2 days I     20-21

MARIS: MARIS is the Edulog mapping tool. With MARIS, you can create, modify and delete geographic data, which includes the street network and boundary data. (Note: North Carolina requires that individuals be certified by the staff at ITRE or UNC-C prior to making geocode edits in MARIS.). Prerequisite: Edulog.NT. 2 days I 11-12
Open Lab: We open our training lab the 2nd Thursday of every month, for you to have the opportunity to come in with your questions, ideas and solutions to share or ask support staff directly about any part of the Edulog.NT system. *Remote access back to your server is possible if firewall issues allow it, so you can work on your live data from our lab!     13 10 8 12 10
Reports: Creating and analyzing Edulog pre-defined reports and customized reports. How to use Textpad and Excel to format and sort report data. Typical reports covered in class include: Student Reports, Transportation Reports, Geographic Reports, Student Counts, Student Ride Times, Deleted and Unmatched Students, School Distance and RR Crossing Reports. 1 day I     15

Run/Route Optimization: Optimization allows the user to start with a blank slate and create an efficient routing system for one or more schools. You could start with a group of stops, several runs, a whole school or multiple schools and develop more efficient routing. It is great for 'what-if', to look at how staggering bell times affect the transportation plan. Prerequisite: Intermediate Edulog. 1 day A         17
System Admin & EMU.
System Administration:
Open to staff managing multiple users on a TIMS server.  This session is designed to give you background and information on managing day-to-day TIMS operations in a Microsoft Server environment.
EMU: Edulog Maintenance Utilities. EMU allows you to perform maintenance as a means of updating your data. EMU also provides you with the ability to modify data automatically with different batches you can create.
1 day I   29
TDTIMS for North Carolina users only: In this session, we will discuss ways to help insure that your TIMS Data is current and ready for TDTIMS submission. Updating data, pre-audit of yourself and actual submission procedure will be covered. No classes scheduled at this time. 1 day
UPSTU: Uploading Student Data. This session will cover the basics of the student upload process, using TIFMU (TIMS File Management Utility) and related batches in EMU. 1 day I     14
