Operations Research/Education Laboratory (OR/Ed. Lab)

OR/Ed. Laboratory is part of the Institute for Transportation Research and Education at North Carolina State University. The lab specializes in the use of mathematical models (operations research) for improving decision-making in educational institutions and in state and local governmental agencies.

Mission

The mission of the OR/Ed. Laboratory is to help educators and public administrators use the modern tools of management science and thereby enable them to make decisions wisely, to evaluate policy alternatives thoroughly, and to allocate resources efficiently.
