Distinguished Lecture Series

The CTE Distinguished Lecture Series brings to North Carolina research scientists, government officials, and policy leaders who are recognized nationally for their groundbreaking contributions to the transportation and environmental field. Guest lecturers are invited to discuss the implications of their cutting edge work with local area decision makers, practitioners, students, and faculty. The CTE Lecture Series is designed to facilitate a heightened awareness of emerging transportation and environmental issues in North Carolina, to encourage enhanced communication and coordination at the local level, and to stimulate new areas for research and development within UNC systems schools and Duke University. The lectures are conducted at Stewart Theater in the Tally Student Center on the campus of North Carolina State University.
