Technical Assistance
From its inception in 1978, ITRE has provided technical assistance to NCDOT employees as well local/regional transportation agencies and the private sector. The Highway Systems Group has developed these foundational and advanced courses:
- Asphalt Emulsion Storage and Handling
- Flexible and Rigid Pavement Maintenance
- Maintenance Operations and Safety
- Guardrail Installation*
- Plane Coordinate Utilization
- Traffic Signal Timing
- Traffic Signal Installation and Mainentance
