Research focuses on the opportunities presented in Policy and Traffic Operations. The research program was created at ITRE to research and develop innovative approaches to planning, financing, and operating transportation facilities.
Our project philosophy is grounded in the following principles:
- Superior service to all public and private clients
- Sound expertise in traffic engineering, transportation planning, and highway finance
- Innovative, free-market approaches
- Solutions that are both practical and theoretically sound
Our ongoing research projects involve intermodalism, livability, privatization, system preservation, innovative finance, as well as other critical issues. Given the complex and dynamic nature of the projects, we utilize a cross-disciplinary and creative approach for our research. However, despite the variety of transportation modes and issues, we maintain a simple credo: develop timely, effective, innovative, and implementable solutions for all of our public and private clients.
